CCA Hosts Webinar on Alternatives for Non College Bound Students

Recording April 10th CCA Exploring Other Options webinar event
At CCA education is an end in itself. And most CCA students are intending to apply to a 4 year university after high school. At CCA we are very supportive of our college bound students and we have partnerships and programs that help them achieve that ambition. However, there is an increasing contingent of students and families that are assessing the ideologically and financial risks of a 4 year degree and are seeking alternative pathways.
On April 10th 2025 CCA hosted a panel of experts to discuss pathways other than the 4 year college track that students can take after high school. For these non-college bound students, many young men and women are finding that they can apply their knowledge, ingenuity and creativity in the trades, start-ups, franchises, and more.
Moderator: Jeff Townsend, CCA
Panelists: Ryan Peterson, Mold Design / Greenstalk, Knoxville TN, Bret Etheridge, Co-Founder, Franchises for Fathers, Mark Buckner, Founder & Instructor, Oak Ridge iSchool, Ray Maynard, Machinery Professional
